1. Your handlebar diameter, either 7/8" or 1"
(Tip: Wrap strip of paper around handlebar, mark and then lay flat and
measure the circumference. If circumference is 3 + 1/8" then it is 1" OR
if 2 + 3/4" then bars are 7/8")
2. Your overall present grip length, not including the end weights, not
including any fake "chrome ends".
3. Do you need the ends of grips bored out to handlebar diameter for
your handlebar end-weight?
4. Some BMW motorcycles have a metal throttle sleeve, and if so, we need
to know about it.
5. Some BMW motorcycles have a clutch side plastic tube under the
non-heated BMW grip, which has two countersunk holes which allow the
plastic tube to be removed from the handelbars complete with the grip.
If so, we need to know about that, since then you need both heated grips
to be sent to you with a 1" inside diameter.
6. Be aware that we no longer supply heated grips with hidden internal
wire that is fed through the inside of the BMW handlebars. All lead
wires are external and exposed utside the handlebars.
All models listed below are $99.95. for the
basic kit which includes two grips, two extra lengths of wire,
3-position switch, resistor for "Low Heat", installation instructions.
Hi Temp epoxy is $5.00. and a solid state variable heat controller is
$69.95.

Warning: We recently got a call from a 1991 BMW K75S owner that
measured his handlebars at an undersize .866" so the clutch side grip
will be loose but will have no problem secured with the recommended high
temp epoxy. The bad news is he measured the o.d. of the BMW throttle
tube at 1.040" dia. which is too large. You will have to use a coarse
file and/or 40 grit sandpaper for a long time to bring it to 1" diameter
or a loose fit on our grip (Model 401).
