Wrap the safety
strap around the front tube of the motorcycle. See Figure 1. Make certain the
safety strap in no way interferes with the steering of the motorcycle or with
the operation of cables, wires, brakes, etc. |

Thread the end of
the strap with the male buckle through the sewn loop at the other end of the
safety strap. |

Check
the bottom of the magnetic pad to insure that it is free of dirt or other debris
that may scratch or otherwise harm the tank. |

Slowly and carefully place the bag in the desired position on the tank.
CAUTION: As the tankbag is lowered toward the tank, the attraction of the
magnets will cause the bag to jump to the tank. |

Connect the safety
strap buckle to the matching buckle on the tankbag and adjust the slack out of
the strap. CAUTION: The safety strap must be connected whenever the tankbag
is in use. |

Please Note
The Eclipse Essential Magnetic Tanktote is
constructed to carry normal touring loads. Please use common sense when loading
this bag, and do not exceed the G.V.W. rating of your motorcycle. Eclipse, Inc.
assumes no liability for the improper mounting or use of the
product.
Service
Because every Eclipse product is built for years of
use, our equipment can be easily off-mounted for periodic cleaning, maintenance,
or adjustment. It takes more time and costs more to make our products this way,
but it means your equipment will last longer.
Cleaning
If
soiled, do not machine wash the Eclipse Essential Tanktote. Use a hand brush
with mild detergent and cold water. Thoroughly rinse with cold water. DO NOT
machine dry. (Note that repeated cleaning will deteriorate the fabric's
waterproof coating.)
Eclipse Warranty
If an Eclipse product should ever become unsatisfactory due to a defect
in materials or manufacturing*, call us for instructions to return it with a
dated proof of purchase for prompt repair or replacement, at our option. This
warranty applies to Eclipse branded products and is given to the original
purchaser only. Altered products will void warranty. Warranty coverage requires
that items be returned to Eclipse, without modification, before final
disposition of the warranty is assessed.
