Mounting Instructions

1. |
Place the Fastpack Seatpack on the seat where you intend to mount it.
Make sure that the reflective striping faces the rear. |

Open the main
compartment of the Fastpack. Remove the bottom stiffener panel to expose the
bungee cord and the cordlock. Loosen the bungee cord enough so the four harness
J-hooks can be easily attached under the seat, seat frame, or the appropriate
location. See Figure 1. |

To loosen the
bungee, just pull on the ring tab of the cordlock. See Figure 2 and Figure 3.

Slowly and
carefully tighten the bungee. As you start shortening the harness loop be sure
the four harness J-hooks have, and maintain, a secure grip around whatever
framework they are attached over or around. |

To tighten the
bungee loop, grasp both ends of the bungee cord firmly in one hand and slide the
cordlock down with the other hand.

Once the Fastpack
Seatpack has been mounted securely, the bungee cord ends and the cordlock can be
tucked under the bottom stiffener panel. |

Please Note
The Eclipse Fastpack Seatpack is constructed to
carry normal touring loads. Please use common sense when loading this pack, and
do not exceed the G.V.W. rating of your motorcycle. Eclipse, Inc. assumes no
liability for the improper mounting or use of the product.
Service
Because every Eclipse product is built for years of
use, our equipment can be easily off-mounted for periodic cleaning, maintenance,
or adjustment. It takes more time and costs more to make our products this way,
but it means your equipment will last longer.
Cleaning
If
soiled, any Eclipse product can be disassembled and washed or dry cleaned. Use a
mild detergent in cold water on the gentle cycle. DO NOT machine dry. (Note that
repeated cleaning will deteriorate the fabric's waterproof
coating.)
Eclipse Warranty
If an Eclipse product should ever become
unsatisfactory due to a defect in materials or manufacturing*, call us for
instructions to return it with a dated proof of purchase for prompt repair or
replacement, at our option. This warranty applies to Eclipse branded products
and is given to the original purchaser only. Altered products will void
warranty. Warranty coverage requires that items be returned to Eclipse, without
modification, before final disposition of the warranty is assessed.
